Training is essential for the new workforce to be able to safely join the jobs that the wind energy sector offers in the following links of the wind energy value chain: construction, installation, operation and maintenance.
The authors of the study estimate that 480,000 workers will have to be trained in occupational hazards in order to adapt to the occupational health and safety standards demanded by the sector.
