New record for wind power generation

On 23 January, wind energy produced 367,697 MWh (43.2% of the total for the peninsular system), setting a new daily wind generation record.

That same day, the share of clean technology generation was 71.3% and renewable 53.3%.

For this reason, Spain was the first country in the European ranking with the highest wind power generation and the second in coverage of electricity demand with wind power.
